Feb. 2020
In February 2020 I participated in the SnowEx 2020 “Intensive Observation Period” field campaign at Grand Mesa, Colorado. This involved digging and gathering data at snow pits across the large study area, as well as setting up some snow temperature sensors and dataloggers. These ground-based measurements will provide validation data for airborne and satellite observations across a wide range of the electromagnetic spectrum: from gamma, to visible, infrared, and microwave (SWESARR, UAVSAR).
